This is how I feel about my art. Even with all its mediocrity...

I create boxes for heads.
Eff yeah.

I draw stick figures.

I fail with anatomy.
Eff yeah.

I design terribly.
Eff yeah.

My stuff looks like spaghetti.

I'm lazy as hell.
Eff yeah.

I take 10 minutes to spit out something.
Eff yeah.

No time for me.

I vomit when I see what I create.
Eff yeah.

This design I'm going to do right now is going to suck. But I don't care and I'm going to create it anyways because I want to see how bad it's going to turn out.
Eff yeah.

I might design something incredible every now and then, but when I decide I'm going to colour it, it looks like a**.
Eff yeah.

I love art.
Eff yeah.

Now are you asking yourself, why the endless eff yeahs? Because out of some sheer animosity I have with my art, I have this explicit need to continue what I have designed, and realize just how terrible it is in the end.

Eff yeah.

Now...let's say one day you decide to create something. It's going to be awesome, epic, amazing, monstrous, beastly, everything. You're done, you really did try your best. But just admit it, it's a failure. A completely terrible awesome failure. An epic disastrous failure. Nothing could comprehend to just how horribly incredible this piece is.

Take into perspective this failure, let's try and reverse it. Think of it backwards, and say to yourself, wow. This sh*t is amazing. Everythings covered. Do you disgust it in all its glory?

Eff yeah.

But one day...one amazing day, you pop out something so incredible, so epic, so godly, the gods of gods are bowing down to you in every achievment, with every little detail. It's a true masterpiece, a design of epic proportions.

And you say to youself:

HOLY FREAKING SH*T! DID I JUST DO THAT?

And you're so happy, filled with joy and pleasure. You feel ecstatic, proud of yourself for such an accomplishment.

But then, the terrible, the horrible happens! You go back to create something so amazing, something to top that epic piece you did last time. But when you're done, it's terrible; It's crap, the gods hate it, you hate it, we all hate it.

Eff yeah.

Is it these little things that make us love creating?

Eff yeah.

Epic.

Eff yeah.

Wow lol.

I do something like this though, most of my art sucks, or at least I think so, and then one in a million chance I make something that looks good. Lost that picture too lol.
