We need more lab rats-- err, forumers.

Yeah, I think we have a decent amount of forumers, but personally, I think we need more. Anyone got any non-spammy ideas of how we could get more people? Personally, I think that we should get the Aos thread back at the sporum alive. Whenever its in recent topics, a few more people join.

And we NEED more people.

Any good targets? Who's not here?

I think the userbars are the best way we can advertise without spamming.

A good way to advertise, would to be prettymuch everything said above, but with a few modifications. The userbars, though links, can stay. I say that the AoS thread includes info, userbars, etc. but no link to the forum. People in the thread request a PM with the link and why they would like to join (elaborate reasons not needed, but to get more than just "Hey ____, check PM's" or "PM me NAO!!!" posts, I think this should be instituted. Those who do make such posts will be warned and if behavior persists, allowance into the forum will be denied.) Some people will have a universal PM pre-made with a link and small welcome message saved somewhere, and, at one point or another, someone will send it. Then to avoid someone getting PM bombed, the person who sent the PM will send another PM to all people containing the message saying that it has already been sent, and there is no longer a need to do so.

Idea sound any good?

I think a lot of us just run out of things to say and stop posting until someone brings up another topic. Doesn't mean we're not here, we're just lurking in the shadows somewhere.
