You can lock this once it is answered, but why have a fanfic section?

Isn't that basically literature, or is fanfic for Spore fanfiction. Otherwise, I do not really see the point of adding that section, unless there is more to it.

The Literature section is divided into three subsections. Fanfics is one of those categroies, since it was requested on the Sporum thread.

But how is it different then just writing a story in literature, it seems basically the same.

Hmm...

I'm guessing a fanfic could be a spin-off of a game or some sort, and literature could be like an original series or story.

But, fanfics could fall into the Literature category, depending on how you look at it.
